For so long I felt lost, I felt as if I had no purpose. I’d wake up and do the same actions as the days before. I felt as if I was going insane. I asked myself, “Am I crazy?” Is this what life has to offer me?”
Today I woke up and told myself “No, baby girl this is not life and you are not crazy”. You see, we get so wrapped up in our everyday rituals, that we lose sight of our purpose for life. We get comfortable and stop challenging ourselves to see if we can actually achieve greatness. We get too wrapped up in social media, TV shows, and everyone else’s lives around us that we lose sight of our own. I’m tired of settling for less because of my own laziness.
I’m tired of feeling crazy because I’m doing the same things over and over again expecting different results. So I took it upon myself and took a leap of faith and went after what makes me happy. No it’s not my dreams I’m chasing, it’s my purpose I’m running after.
I can no longer hinder myself because I didn’t feel like putting in the work, time, and effort. As I’m writing this, maybe I Was crazy at the time. Maybe that same ritual everyday was all I had to offer the world, but when I woke up I realized I woke up in my purpose.
