Meet Ben and Jewel Tankard, the stars of Bravo’s highly anticipated breakout series, “Thicker Than Water” and their larger-than-life brood of five grown children.  A self-described cross between the iconic Cosby Show’s “Huxtables” and “The Brady Bunch”, the Tankards hail from humble beginnings with a faith infused rags-to-riches story.   Zany, irreverent, God-centered, drama-filled and provincial but loving the luxe life — this new-southern heartland family headed by its artistic patriarch may be flawed, but with a heart of gold and a fierce allegiance to their clan.  Set to debut  Sunday, November 10 following the premiere of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, “Thicker Than Water” follows Ben and Jewel’s blended family as they live, love and laugh through the perils and pleasures of life.

Pastors and parents, Ben and Jewel Tankard, work at raising their blended family under one roof. Ben becomes protective when a young man courts his youngest daughter, Cyrene, as his prom date. Brooklyn longs for her family’s support when her marathon coincides with Cyrene’s prom. Britney and Brooklyn go on a double date where their checkered pasts are revealed.
