UT Fashion Show Spectrum Tonight!

Austin Fashion Week kicks off tonight at the UT Fashion Show Spectrum tonight at 5:30pm. students will present over 120 original designs featuring a intriguing mix of textures and techniques. The designers have turned their talents to producing cutting-edge performance designs specifically intended to be worn by sportsmen, athletes and artists. Designs also make use of technology: digital prints, performance fabrics and programmable lights.

AFW 2014 Runways & Designer All Stars

Austin Fashion Week is incredibly excited to commence our 2014 runway shows just one week from today! Join the Austin fashion glitterati as we don our most spectacular towering heels and head to Austin Music Hall in celebration of stunning full collection runway shows featuring top emerging talent from around the world.

Wednesday and Thursday night, you will watch runway shows ranging from avant garde to swimwear to menswear. You’ll see the familiar faces of locals Ross Bennett, Adrienne Yunger, and Crowned Bird, while welcoming new Austin talents M.E. Shirley, Curlee Bikini, and S.T.E.F, among several others. Let’s welcome to Austin from out of town, super-talented designers like Southward Apparel, OFabz Swimwear and Kucoon, along with designers from as far as Honduras. This year, we’ve curated an amazing group of marketplace designers including Kelly Wynne, Suzanna Dai, Teysha, Kenda Kist and more. You’ll also be able to shop designs straight off the runway in the marketplace!
