Angela Shelf Medearis, otherwise known as the Kitchen Diva, needs our help to spread the word about her new fund-raising project via RocketHub and the A&E Network’s Project Start Up.  The Kitchen Diva Culinary Company has been raising money and presenting the COOKING FOR A CAUSE events for the last few years in Austin and Central Texas.  Her next food-related fund-raiser will be for the Blackland’s Neighborhood Pre-Juneteenth Health Fair on Friday, June 14th. (See above).  They have set up a donation site via RocketHub that’s supported by the A&E Network in the hopes that they can raise support for their programs and possibly, get a reality-show on A&E that will focus even more attention on our charitable work!  http://www.rockethub.com/projects/26033-the-kitchen-diva-cooking-for-a-cause-fund

The Kitchen Diva loves supporting non-profit organizations via her food-related fundraisers.  All the food/funds for the fundraiser are raised via donations so that the non-profit can fully benefit from the event.  She has  found that folks LOVE coming to lunch/dinner events and don’t mind paying extra for a meal attached to a great cause.
