Austin is known for being an art town. You can find art everywhere. If you follow Ujima’s Instagram page, you know we love art and follow many types of artist.

The City of Austin has a gallery located at City Hall called the People’s Gallery.

This Friday, July 29th from 6pm-8pm there will be an event held called Art After Six at City Hall located at 301 West 2nd. The featured artist will be Barbara Attwell, Jess Bee, and Cherry Taylor.

The Cultural Arts Division of the Economic Development Department provides leadership and management for the City’s cultural arts programs and for the development of arts and cultural industries. The People’s Gallery and this event is part of that program.
