Girl Scouts: Troop 1500 The Mothers Of Woodmen

When I was told I could visit the mothers of the Girl Scouts that participate in Troop 1500 I was happy to be able to speak with them but I was also anxious about how I would be received. I traveled with Renese Johnson, Program Specialist, to the Woodmen Prison in Gatesville, Texas to meet with five mothers whose daughters participate in Troop 1500. It was a bit intimidating not knowing what to expect, but when I met the mothers, they were so nice and welcoming, I was able to relax and enjoy the conversation.
