*Every 40 seconds someone has a stroke
*One out of six people will suffer a stroke in his or her lifetime
*Stroke is the leading cause of disability in the U.S.

Despite the statistics, many people do not think of a stroke as a major health concern. But strokes effect all lives, young and old, male and female from every background. The good news is strokes can be preventable, treatable and beatable.

These are the signs you need to be aware of in identifying a stroke which is F. A. S. T.
F for Face Drooping
A for Arm Weakness
S for Speech Difficulty
T for Time To Call 911
