Remembering Autism Awareness Month

autism-ribbon.png

April is Autism awareness month. It is a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts.

There are several ways you can support Autism Awareness month by doing the following.

  1. Share the puzzle ribbon. Share it on your social media feeds. It is a very recognizable symbol for Autism.
  2. Donate your time and money to credible Autism organizations.
  3. Volunteer with an Autism organization or fundraiser
  4. Participate in Autism organization activities, ie. an Autism walk

These are just a few things you can do to promote and support Autism Awareness month.
