Go Red is an annual event that celebrates women who have fought heart disease and promotes heart disease awareness.
This year, Margaret Edwards represented Ujima Magazine at the Go Red, Austin Heart Association annual event in April. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined.
