The event supports CEO Rhonda Mundhenk’s mission to close health disparity gap
Rhonda Mundhenk, J.D., MPH, is the Chief Executive Officer for Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC), one of the leading Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in Central Texas. LSCC has seventeen clinic sites throughout five counties known for its clinical excellence and innovation.
Rhonda brings 20 years of healthcare and legal experience to LSCC. Rhonda’s proven strategic and tactical leadership approach has spearheaded the transformation of LSCC. She is a prominent voice with a mind for operational excellence and passion for the people in the communities served.
Lone Star Circle of Care will host the second annual Urban Health Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at Huston-Tillotson University, 900 Chicon St., Austin, Texas.
The Urban Health Expo focuses on closing the health disparities gap for Austin’s African-American community in an interactive and supportive environment. Lone Star Circle of Care is serving as the title sponsor, furthering CEO Rhonda Mundhenk’s mission of providing affordable healthcare and eliminating healthcare inequality.
The expo will feature fitness/dance classes, cooking sessions, and discussion panels.
