Have you been testing out ChatGPT? After listening to the news and watching YouTube videos, my marketing friend is teaching me the basics. I am still learning and I have only had two meetings to discuss the platform. I have to admit it was scary at first because I didn’t quite understand it, but with help, it seems less scary.
This is what I have learned so far:
- How to do a search.
- When you do a search very specific. You will get better results.
- Do not take the information at face value, always (I can’t stress this enough) fact-check the information to make sure it is accurate.
- It does cut down time on google searches.
- When in doubt about the information do not use it.
I wanted to share an example of how you need to be careful with the information. I wanted to post a quote by someone that came up in my search for famous quotes by black artists. I decided to search for the quote to make sure it was said by the person. After looking at his website, quotes said by him, I could not find this specific quote. I did not use it. I found one that he said and used it instead. It is better to error on the safe side than use information that is not truthful.
