Ujima July Sunflower Tribe Newsletter

From the Editor

The weather this July has been rainy, stormy and flooding.  I want to take this opportunity to say my condolences to all the people that were lost in the flood and for all the people who are going to be rebuilding their lives.  I can’t imagine what they are going through. Praying for all of them.

I’m moving forward in my life each day, one step at a time. Grief is hard to manage at times, but I continue to feel the pain when it comes and enjoy the laughter as well. I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying your summer. ☀️ I do think we have some heat ahead, but I’m going to enjoy the slight coolness for as long as I can.

Everyday Heroes Spotlight

Our June/July Issue is still available for you to read. Twice a year we do a two month issue. One is our summer issue (June/July) and our holiday issue (Nov/Dec). This allows staff and our contributing writers some down time to enjoy each season. It also gives me time to do research for new ideas, focus on priorities and plan for our upcoming quarter.

Make sure you catch the issue here https://bit.ly/453I140
