
This summer has been very hot!! Being in a 100 plus degrees makes you look for cool and icy things to eat. What is your summer food you go to as you beat the heat? I wanted to share a few ideas that may be good choices for you to try.
- Watermelon is a summer staple fruit. A must eat! It’s juicy, sweet, and incredibly hydrating. You can enjoy it chilled, cut into slices, or make it into a refreshing watermelon salad.
- Beat the summer heat with a delicious ice cream sundae or any ice cream. Choose your favorite flavor and add your favorite toppings. Don’t forget the whipped cream and a cherry on top!
- Cool down with a refreshing tropical fruit smoothie. Blend together fruits like mango, pineapple, banana, and a splash of juice. Some people like to add yogurt or ice cream for a creamier texture. Sip on these fruity concoctions to enjoy the taste of summer.
