The book of Ecclesiastes 3: speaks about the seasons of life, the highs, and lows. Our lives are a perfect story. We are the characters in settings, and when life begins to turn the pages, the climax of our story begins. These are Seasons!
Ecclesiastes 3: 1 – 4. 1. To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven: 2. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to buildup; 4. A time to weep, a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.
Where are you right now in this season?
Are you in a season of pruning? A time of transition – letting go of what has been familiar?
Are you in a shaping season? A season of learning, correcting and maturing.
Are you in a season of dying? A time of loss, brokenness, and need more strength and direction.
Are you in a thriving season? A season of experiencing innovative ideas and opportunity, an awakening of hope, and new beginnings.
I believe all of us have gone through the experienced seasons of pruning, shaping, drying, and thriving. I have experienced these chapters of life. However, I continued to walk in faith and belief, it was not easy. But I knew God would never leave me and that God know the end of the story.
We can go through significant highs and lows in every vicissitude of life in our seasons. Our lens in life directly affects what we see, how we see it, how we think, and what we believe, which can accelerate or stagnate our growth. That is why in this season, you need to seek God’s face in prayer to help you adjust how you see things around you. Do you see yourself blessed or broken? Do you see your situation as a challenge or an opportunity? Do you know when to plant or uproot? Do you know when to stand for a cause or sit in silence? Seasons!
Jeremiah 29: 11 says, “for I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope in the future.”
When we read scripture, we desire immediate release or rescue amid hardship in suffering. But, unfortunately, at times, God will not give you the quick response to escape problematic situations. But there is hope in God’s word because he states that you can still prosper in the very midst of your crisis. God is telling us that we are getting an upgrade version during this season. Even though we are uncertain, books are coming out of you – A GODLY UPGRADE. Our next chapter is being written.
Even though there were job losses – entrepreneurship is coming out – A GODLY UPGRADE.
Even though the financial system has collapsed – homes are paid in full –A GODLY UPGRADE.
Even though you seem confused – wisdom is coming your way – A GODLY UPGRADE.
What God is telling us today women do not collapse under pressure. Your testimony is someone else’s lifeline. Your story is God’s glory.
According to Philippians 1:6, it says “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. There is comfort in knowing that this earthly life will not last forever. But while we are here, we will live according to his purpose.
Regardless of what is going on in your life, women 2022 is your year of upgrade. Although it will come with a cost, women with faith and boldness make themselves a promise – “Something good is about to happen to me and through me!
Are you ready for an Upgrade!
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that these women see you in every situation. We thank you for the stories of our lives that challenge and inspires. We thank you for each page, climax, and chapter in our lives. As it is written in Psalms 139:13-14, “For it was You who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise You because I have been fearfully and wonderfully made.
